About Bright Beginnings Christian Academy

In October 2025 it was announced that a childcare center in Cape Girardeau would be closing its doors after 53 years of service to many families. After a lot of prayer and trust in God, Bright Beginnings was born in an effort to keep families, staff, and children together. At Bright Beginnings we are lifting up this new journey in prayer and trusting that God is with us every single step. Our mission is simple: to provide a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where little minds can grow, little hearts can flourish, and families can find peace knowing that their children are supported, taught, and loved.

Our center accepts children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old offering part time and full time options. Ages 6-12 years offered when any local schools are not in session.
